    Audgunn Naustdal Holsen

In work with one work come ideas of how I can use the leftovers in the next work, either as inspiration or specific clear up work. This is one of my many aspects of work processes.

    Agneta Henerud

"I begin, I work, I complete – and start all over – again and again and again"

    Ruta Naujalyte

It all began in a pile of sewing thread. Over the years I’ve experimented with various materials and techniques but always stayed loyal to crochet.

    Alexandra Hallenius Lyche

Fashion and Art goes hand in hand. The touch of a fabric bring a sensation, on a canvas with movement and colour it changes its apperance.

    Frida Åström

A combination of 3D modelling, hand stitching and storytelling in a sculptural art practice.

    Renée Rudebrant

I often work with my very special textile-collage technique in the form of different parts in black and white. It leads to a look that is tangible and abstract at the same time.

    Anna Olsson

I try to understand the world in my loom and the tapestries become my answer to change. I weave because I want to tell something. I listen, see and meet people. I think, ponder and images arise.

    Dorte Jensen

My passion is to sew portraits. I am fascinated by the fact that eyes, nose and mouth can be put together in so many different ways.

    Kari Merete Paulsen

Jeg har i mange år jobbet hovedsakelig med vev og konstruksjon som verktøy, innen emner som eksistensialisme og persepsjon. Jeg har min utdanning fra Kunst og Designhøgskolen i Bergen.

    Annette Graae

The inspiration is from the sea, nature and cities and I work in series that are slowly changing. I work with tapestries and objects. The choice of material is an important part of my work.

    Kissa Tindal

I am working and educated in batik and related techniques like dying, printing and collaging. You can call it surface-design. My main interest has been making wall-hangings.

    päivi Vaarula

I am translating the life into the language of textiles. Using different wool yarns, natural dyes, forms and structures I am expressing the feeling, emotion, idea or opinion.

    Madeleine Swanström

My textile works is a release process from the fabric. A sculptural embroidery with roots from 14 th century, silk and metal embroidery.

    Gudrun Pagter

Based on a concrete and geometric idiom I work with tapestries. In my compositions, I use lines and shapes to achieve a tension and a spatial effect, with inspiration drawn from architecture.

    Aino Kajaniemi

My technique is weaving. My tapestries are line-drawings like graphic. I like to draw, black lines on white, white lines on black and tones between those. My textiles are my way of thinking.
