Vi behöver bildmaterial till NTA webbsidan !
Jag har inga bilder alls som handlar om NTA därför uppmanas alla att kolla vad ni har i era gömmor.
Allt kan vara av värde..bilder från möten, från förr, utställningarna, Textilt lys, Miniutställningen, semenarierna m.m
Bränn ner resultate av funna bilder på CD och skicka den till mig.
...ju fler foton desto mer material att vaska fram bra bilder ur till nya hemsidan...!

Lite bråttom är det ju förstås! Tänkt release 13 juni samtidigt som utställningen har vernissage.

Anything can be of value.. from meetings and gatherings, seminars and exhibitions, texilt lys, Mini exhib, anything to do with NTA
Burn it on a Cd and sent it to me. You can email - max 2 MGbits in each mail.
..the more you send, the richer well to "fish" from...and get real good picturers to our new NTAwebsite.

Of course, we are in a bit of hurry - our ambition is to be ready to the 13th of June
and release the new webbsite att the same time as the exhibiton i Borås opens.

VÄlkommen till Nordic Textile Art, Vi hoppas kunna Öppna vÅr nya webbsida med ny logga, under maj mÅnad.

Rom byggdes inte på en dag… ett gammalt sant talesätt. Att skapa en vital nordisk textil kollegial gemenskap måste också få ta sin tid, liksom att bygga upp en webbsida! NTA

Nordic Textile Art vill visa och öka kunskapen om och intresset för textilt baserad konst i norden. Det är ett omfattande arbete som till stor del sker med ideella krafter. Var och en som vill bidra med energi och konkret arbete i bygget av vårt nordiska samarbete välkomnas varmt. Vi har behov av mångas kompetens.

Från det första nordiska seminariet i Hunnebostrand 2006, till nu våren 2009 har mycket hänt. se de äldre inläggen.

Nu planeras:
13 juni – 4 oktober: Textilmuseet Borås Sverige

Changing fibers - Textile art on the edge samtida textil konst från Norden Textil konst är både avantgarde och tradition, material och uttryck - en konstform som ständigt omdefinieras av nya generationer. Denna utställning vill lyfta fram textiliernas dubbla natur, spänningen mellan det vardagliga och det provokativa, mellan obetydliga trasor och ovärderliga skatter samt vår relativa uppfattning av välgjort och vackert. Samarbete mellan Textilmuseet och NTA, som står för urval och inbjudan av 2 konstnärer från varje nordiskt land.

Seminarium den 12-13 september i Borås.
Då hoppas vi få möta konstnärerna bakom årets utställning i samtal och föreläsningar. Studenterna från högskolorna inbjuds särskilt.

Wellcome to Nordic textile Art, we hope to open the new website during the month of May Rome was not built in one day!

The Creation of a vital togetherness among Nordic textile artists demands time and effort, the same goes for building the new website! NTA Nordic Textile Art aims to show and increase the knowledge and interest for textile arte based in the Nordic countries. This is a big task taken on with mostly voluntary means. We embrace each one of you and invite you all! Come on and bring your energy and skills to the construction of this our Nordic fellowship. From the first steps starting with the Seminar in Hunnebostrand 2006 to now 2009, much has happened. Read earlier contributions on the site.

Engagement diary 2009:

Changing fibres - Textile art on the edge, Contemporary Nordic textile art Exhibition in Textilmuseet Borås, Sweden: 13th of June – 4th of October 2009 Textile art can be avant-garde and tradition, material and expression – an art form under constant redefinition by each new generation. This exhibition focuses on the double nature of textiles, the tension between the everyday and the provocative, between the plain rag and the precious materials together with our perception of well done and beautiful. This exhibition is cooperation between the Textilmuseet in Borås and the NTA, Nordic Textile Art; two artists are invited from each Nordic country to participate.

Seminar the 12th -13th of September in Borås where we hope to meet and talk to the artists represented in the exhibition and listen to some lectures. Students from the academies are welcome to join.
